Demo Football TV - Kazumi

As we talked with Andrew and Olie, filming a TV directly with camera might not be able to capture the imagery in the screen clearly (eg. reflection), we decided to create a TV screen in editing suite instead.

Here's how I demonstrated the idea.

1. Find a game on Youtube (make sure it's HD)

This time, I used:

2. convert clip to MOV file using Youtube video converter
(just Google search)

while converting the video,

3. get the image of living room

This time, I used:

4. put it into Final Cut

5. download the MOV file (football clip)

6. place the video into Final Cut

7. resize the football image to fit the TV screen
(simply drag the corner of the image)

8. crop the image to fit the TV screen using crop tool

Crop tool -

Here's the video of how that looks like

We are going to add actions in between (eg. add cut of the character changing volume, having a drink.etc) to make it smoother.

  1. This is good work on process and technique, but you need to set it all in some context. As things stand, it's not clear why you are posting this material. Remember that an examiner won't be searching back through your blog to find out - it must be clear why you are doing this!

  2. This is better with the introduction. Try to do more of this at each stage.
